The problematic :
Everything moves at a quick pace in a company nowadays and for people in their professional and personal life. But the employees and the company do not work go at the same pace : the needs of a company often tend to be urgent. These repeated and quick changes of management and structures and outsourcings lead to a loss of marks for the employees and the needs of the companies being urgent, anticipating the company’s needs is thus not an easy task. The enterprises’s territory grows with internationalisation and relocations : the companies always take care of the short term and the immediate profitability.
The employees can be positioned for jobs without the required preparation, without the knowledge of « the client », the field, the people, one tends to trust their knowledge without making sure they are adapted to the work: they take the initiatives without a safety net. Time is a rare commodity, we don’t give any time to « fallow » : there is no time to « rest », we are not able to get fresh ideas, we are working all the time, during transport, trains, planes, with mobile phones…We don’t have much time nowadays to think about one’s career evolution.
Group’3c’s response :
Group’3C, surpassing the classic « career appraisal» which is too static, has put in place a career assessment in order to on one hand allow an executive or a director to conduct a real professional thought process concerning his motivations, his know-how, and on the other hand, build a project by taking this thought process into account which is turned towards the future.
In 20 years of practice, Group’3c has helped a number of executives to resposition themselves :
- Most of them have gone through their career in an enterprise, their career assessment lets them rediscover their potentials which have been ignored or unexploited up till now.
- For the others, the solution has been found outside of the enterprise as the senior executive’s project didn’t seem to fit in his problematic.
